Candy ""knows how to do it"" because what we are today is the result of innovations and successes that has been lasting for 70 years.
It was 1945 when, in the Mechanical Workshops of Eden Fumagalli of Monza (which produced high-precision components for machine tools), the Model 50, the first Italian washing machine, was born.
Created by the extraordinary talent of Eden Fumagalli, the new protagonist of washing is officially presented to the public at the Fiera di Milano in 1946.
The Candy brand goes into history. Since then he has traced a path of extraordinary successes. The sons of the founder, Enzo, Niso and Peppino Fumagalli, start up the production of washing machines, making household appliances the core and strength of their business.
In its 70 years, Candy has achieved an incredible record set. In addition to the first washing machine, also the first 16-dish dishwasher and the invention of the washer-dryer.
