Brdo - posestvo doživetij

Najvišja protokolarna srečanja, kongresne in konferenčne prireditve, posebne uradne in zasebne slovesnosti ter razkošje drugih doživetij imajo svoje pravo mesto v naravnem okolju pred čudovito kuliso gora – na Brdu pri Kranju. Posestvo z izjemno preteklostjo med drugim odlikuje bližina: od glavnega mesta, Ljubljane, je Brdo oddaljeno manj kot 30 kilometrov.

Na skoraj 500 hektarov velikem posestvu na pragu Alp imata svoj dom bogata naravna in kulturna dediščina. Zgodovinskim objektom so se v zadnjih letih in desetletjih pridružili mnogi novi: Hotel Brdo s konferenčnimi zmogljivostmi, prostorno restavracijo in centrom dobrega počutja Vrelec Brdo, konjeniški center, golf igrišče z 9-imi luknjami, Koča Jezero, Račji otok, tiskovno središče ter v letu 2007 kot zadnji sodobno zasnovan in vrhunsko tehnično opremljen Kongresni center Brdo.

Z vsemi protokolarnimi in tržnimi možnostmi posestva danes upravlja Javni gospodarski zavod Protokolarne storitve Republike Slovenije (JGZ Brdo), ki poleg Brda skrbi še za Grad Strmol, Vilo Bled, Vilo Zlatorog, Vilo Podrožnik, Vladno palačo in nekatere druge objekte po državi.

Brdo Estate - The Domain of Delights

Highest state protocol events, exclusive congresses and conferences, exquisite formal and informal solemnities, and other luxurious happenings take place in a natural environment in front of beautiful mountain scenery at Brdo Estate.

Brdo Estate is renowned for its exceptional history and distinguished by its closeness to Ljubljana, the Slovenian capital city of Slovenia which is less than 30 kilometres away, the international airport Jože Pučnik Ljubljana which is only 10 kilometres away.

With almost 500 hectares of surface at the doorstep of the Alps, Brdo Estate boasts in rich natural and cultural heritage. Here you can admire thousands of vegetable and animal species and their numerous habitats, unique beehive endings, scattered hayracks, former castle stables and orangery, open-air sculpture collection, and last but not least the Brdo Castle as the most prestigious building on the estate.

In the last decades and years many new buildings joined the historical ones: a four-star Hotel Brdo with its conference utilities, spacious restaurant and wellness centre, equestrian centre, golf practice course, Lake Cottage Jezero, Duck's Island, press centre, and in 2007 as the latest modern and technically sophisticated Brdo Congress Centre.

Brdo Estate is managed by the public utility State Protocol Services of the Republic Of Slovenia (short JGZ Brdo), which is also responsible for the Strmol Castle, Podrožnik Villa, Villa Bled, Villa Zlatorog, and the Slovene Government Palace along with some other smaller facilities all over the state.
